“I love the fact that kids can have a fighting chance to live and heal rather than suffer,” said Butch. “LPCH is an unbelievable organization. I have been through the hospital’s floors a number of times, and the doctors, nurses and staff are saints and angels. When you walk in, you can tell the love they have and how much they care for every child under their care. In my world of construction, I sometimes need to deal with the bad side of people, which can be really hard, but when I walk into LPCH, it restores my faith in humanity. All the negative things that are happening suddenly disappear and the love for the children that don’t deserve to be sick takes over.”
